jack Richey — Lead Pastor

Jack was actually born when his parents, Charles & Donna Richey were pastoring Happy Hill in the late 60’s.  He became our Lead Pastor in December of 2013. With a passion for Jesus and people you will often see him visiting with others helping unlock the God given gifts they possess.  Over the last 26 years he has helped plant 2 churches while serving other local pastors & families, their teams and churches throughout America and globally. He married the love of his life, Jana in 1991 and they enjoy life together along with their children Taylor, Tess, Braiden, Michael, Cheyenne and Ashlynn and their amazing grandchildren Trace, Tinley, Auria, Tilly, and Colter!  Jack enjoys the outdoors, hitting the gym, summer camps, Mexican food and coffee … yeah give him some coffee.

Alicia Tinsley — administrative pastor & director of lionscrest bible college

Alicia Tinsley has been on our leadership team for 30 years.  During her years at Happy Hill, she has served in multiple areas including cleaning, children, youth as well as teaching. Continuing education has been and is a strong part of her life today.  She received her Doctorate of Divinity in 2008. Alicia (Dr. Tinsley), has a love for students of all ages and desires for them to develop a passion for Jesus that allows them to rise above their circumstances and fulfill their identity in Christ.  She serves as our Administrative Pastor and is the Director of Lionscrest Bible College. She has been married to her husband, Scott for 38 years. She loves Mexican food, popcorn, spending time with her family, summer camps, and her grand-buddy Lincoln.

Racheal Bogan — Children’s pastor

Racheal has been working with student’s for over 25 years and still loves it today! She has a passion to see a foundation built in our kid’s lives by leading them to find their potential & destiny in Christ. Her mission is to invest in our student’s because they are the future of America, the church and leading strong Godly families one day. Racheal became a part of our leadership team in 2016 as our Children’s Pastor.  Her motto in Children’s ministry is “Having fun while serving Jesus” because serving Christ shouldn’t be boring.  She loves to travel, cook, make fun cakes, and spend time with family. Her boys are the apple of her eye and she hopes to see them fulfill their callings in ministry one day.  Racheal’s daily goal is to be intentional and embrace every opportunity possible while smiling, laughing and spreading the light of Jesus Christ.

April Tinsley — Worship Leader

April has grown up at Happy Hill, it’s always been home.  She became a part of our leadership team in 2013 as worship leader.  Before she had previously served in custodial arts as well as children’s ministry.  Her desire to see generational gaps in worship disappear and to see people be able to freely express themselves in worship to their Heavenly Father is both genuine and refreshing. “It’s truly a privilege to work, week in and week out, with an excellent team whose hearts of worship match their musical talent.”  She loves to cook, spend time with friends & family, discovering new adventures and drink coffee.

Ashlynn Richey — Youth Pastor and office administrator

Ashlynn has been raised around ministry her entire life and at an early
childhood age made a commitment to Jesus Christ. Her journey at Happy Hill began in the fall of 2013. She has been a part of our HHC Student Ministry, Anchor drama ministry and leading Daughters of The King, a ministry for young ladies ages 12-18. Ashlynn graduated from Lionscrest Bible College in 2020. She became a part of our leadership team in January 2019, serving in our business office as an office administrator. She was set in as our current Youth Pastor in the summer of 2021. When she is not at work, you will either find her running her online boutique or spending time with her friends and family.
